New product research: go or no-go, backed by evidence

Launch it, rework it or leave it alone—with evidence at every step

Product research
Stage 3/8analogs: 6 found, 2 of them successful—analyzed
Stage 4/8demand: 18 400 searches/mo, trend rising
Stage 5/8regulation: EAEU declaration of conformity required
Stage 7/8self-check: risk—narrow audience, added to the verdict

Problem

A new product idea is always a clash of opinions: "it will sell / it won't." Checking every idea by hand means weeks of work for a marketer, a lawyer and a buyer. Not checking means a batch in the warehouse that doesn't sell.

What we built

An eight-stage research pipeline: in goes your own idea or a competitor's new product, out comes a document with a straight verdict. Every stage leaves findings you can verify: the path to the decision is visible, not a "black box that produced an answer."

How it works

01Brief 02Context 03Analogs 04Demand 05Regulation 06Synthesis 07Self-check 08Verdict
01

Brief

The input is your own idea or a new product spotted at a competitor.

02

Context

The idea is checked against the company's product range and positioning.

03

Analogs

Similar products on the market: why they took off or flopped.

04

Demand

Real market demand from official search-query statistics—in absolute numbers, not "I have a feeling it will sell."

05

Regulation

A check of what Russian and EAEU law requires for this product category.

06

Synthesis

The concept: who the product is for, how it differs, how to position it. Plus a packaging sketch.

07

Self-check

The agent attacks its own conclusions—looking for where it might have gone wrong.

Verdict

Launch / don't launch / rework—with reasoning for every stage.

Candid

The most important stage is the self-check: the agent has to find the weak spots in its own conclusions before a human sees them.

Killing a weak concept during research is cheaper than killing it in the warehouse with an unsold batch.
