We were our own first client
Orbaion grew out of doing the work, not out of a slide deck.
For several years we ran our own e-commerce business and saw from the inside how operations work in most companies: the data is spread across spreadsheets, services and people, reports are put together by hand, and decisions are based on an incomplete picture. The faster the business grew, the costlier that mess became.
Instead of hiring more people for the routine work, we went the other way—we started building the company's own operating system. We brought the data together, automated the repetitive processes, and brought in AI agents for the tasks that involve analysis and preparing materials.
That experience shaped our main principle: technology pays off when the pieces work together, not one by one. AI, data, automation and working tools have to be parts of one system—only then does a business get real control instead of a set of services.
Once we were sure the approach worked in our own business, we started building systems like that for other companies. That is how Orbaion came about.
Today we still work inside a system built on the same principles we offer our clients. That is how we stand behind the result: we only put in place what we test on ourselves every day.
Principles
We don't promise numbers until we've seen the process
We don't sell a boxed product—we build for the job
People stay where people are needed
We show processes, not logos
If the job isn't ours, we'll say so
